Rise in demand for Organic produce in Karnataka

(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) Shivamogga farmer’s market seen a growing demand in Organic fruits and vegetables during the Pandemic situation.

The farmer who was selling the organic fruits and vegetables was happy for the rise in demands, as before the Covid-19 outbreak the demand was low. The farmers belong to the village near the city. For the last two decades, the families were involved in organic farming in Karnataka.

With the increase in the production of inorganic Produce, these Farmers have managed to run their organic farming since last decades and now the increase in demands of organic produce led their efforts to sell their organic vegetables and fruits to the people.

With the rise in the demands of immunity boosters, everyone is preferring organic fruits and vegetables which are healthy and tasty.
