Media Global Times claimed that the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has conducted large-scale maneuvers in high altitude areas in the northwest of China. It consists of thousands of paratroopers and armored carriages.
The Global Times report tried to show how quickly China can strengthen its border security if needed. On Saturday, Chine Central Television (CCTV) also reported that the Airborne Brigade of the PLA Airforce conducted maneuvers at an undisclosed location in the plateaus of northwest China, thousands of kilometers from Hubei Province.
