(Milcah Anila, Intern Journalist) Guntur: A quarrel broke out between two friends in a girlfriend affair. Finally, a friend was killed. The friend died while receiving treatment after being mixed with poison in a cooldrink. Datla Gopivarma of Yedlapadu and Kommuri Premchand of Marripalem are friends.
Premchand got acquainted with a woman. Gopi, a friend, used to talk on the phone frequently as he did not have a phone. However, Premchand realized that Gopi had also spoken to the same number several times without his friend’s knowledge. This led to repeated disputes between friends. The two finally got into a fight over the issue on the second of this month. Premchand decides to seduce Gopi Varma, who is a hindrance in the case of his girlfriend.
That same night, he called Gopivarma to the sidewalk on Nadendla Road, drank a poisoned cooldrink with him, and then told the truth. Immediately Gopi went home on the bike. The family members who came to know about the matter were admitted to a private hospital. Gopi was shifted to Guntur GGH on the 7th of this month due to deteriorating health and died on Saturday. Police are registering and investigating the case.
