Indira Gandhi National Open University ie IGNOU has invited applications for the posts of Deputy Registrar, Public Relations Officer, Director (Computer Division), Registrar (Student Evaluation Division) in its latest recruitment advertisement. Candidates will have to apply online for these posts. The last date for application has been set as 11 June 2020. Whereas, hard copies of online application will have to be submitted by 21 June.
According to the recruitment advertisement (no. 57/2020) released by IGNOU, various non-teaching posts are to be recruited for a total of 10 vacancies, out of which 7 are maximum vacancies for Deputy Registrar (Direct Recruitment) and one for others. A vacancy has been declared.
Only those candidates who have a master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks and a minimum of 15 years experience in the prescribed field can apply for the post of Registrar (Student Evaluation Division). Similarly, the qualification prescribed for the Director (Computer Division) is at least 10 years of experience along with a Ph.D. degree in the relevant field.
At the same time, the minimum qualification for deputy registrar posts is a master’s degree with a minimum of 55 percent marks, with a minimum of 10 years of experience required. Whereas for the post of Public Relations Officer, one should have a master’s degree with a minimum of 55 percent marks and a minimum of 8 years of related work experience is required.
Candidates of SC and ST sections should note that they have also been given 5 percent relaxation in the required minimum marks.
Interested candidates have to submit an application fee of Rs 500 while applying online. But SC, ST, PWD, and women candidates do not have to submit the application fee. The application fee can be paid by debit card or credit card or internet banking.
