New Delhi: Delhi Police’s Special Cell has arrested two accused in the murder of TikTok star Mohit Mor a year ago. Police have arrested these accused from a village in Punjab. Mohit was shot dead in broad daylight in Najafgarh on 21 May last year.
The police arrested Vikas and Rohit Dagar, a gang sharpshooter. Both of them are accused of being involved in Mohit’s murder case. The police had earlier arrested an accused in this case. According to the police, the accused had told that he had hatched the conspiracy for this murder with two friends.
Police said that the arrested accused Vikas was wanted in many cases. There were many cases like murder, attempt to murder, theft, extortion. A reward of one lakh 20 thousand rupees was also kept on accused development. At the same time, a reward of 25 thousand rupees was placed on the second accused Rohit Dagar.
Delhi Police (Special Cell) Deputy Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar Yadav said that the accused Vikas was hiding in lockdown with his partner in Lohagad, Punjab. The police raided and arrested both the accused. He said that after information received from the accused, a pistol and live cartridge were also recovered in the Milakpur area of Delhi. At the same time, the whole matter is being investigated.
Mohit Mor was a gym trainer by profession, and also used to make videos on TikTok. Mohit had five lakh followers on TikTok. Apart from this, Mohit was followed by three thousand people on Instagram.
