(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist): From being a coronavirus cluster to an effective containment model- Dharavi, Mumbai’s slum, has come a long way to fight the pandemic. On Tuesday, the largest slum in Asia that has nearly 6.5 lakh people reported only one fresh case, inching closer to flattening the curve.
With only one addition, there are now 2,335 cases of coronavirus in the heavily populated area. The last time it had reported a single new case of coronavirus was on April 5, 3 months earlier.
