(Bhagya Luxmi, Intern Journalist) India has said strongly to China that unilateral changes in the LAC will not be tolerated at all. The Foreign Ministry said on Thursday that we have made our position clear regarding LAC. We want peace. Since 1993, there have been many agreements. Chinese soldiers violated the agreement.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said that we will not accept the effort to change the LAC. Efforts are on for the restoration of peace. We used diplomatic and military levels. Peace is the basis of bilateral relations.
Anurag Shrivastava said that we have also clarified that India is fully committed to respecting the LAC. We will not accept unilateral changes to the LAC. Let me tell you, that after the meeting of the Corps Commander, China has agreed to retreat from many areas, but it wants to remain on Finger 4 and Finger 5. China is not retreating from Pangong and Gogra.
