(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist) Vijayawada: The city of Vijayawada is under complete lockdown, as the number of COVID-19 cases is accelerating each day. Vijayawada police in a press conference on Friday said People in the city should be cautious and carry COVID weapons like sanitizer and mask.
The virus is very contagious and fatal. Since, there is no specific medicine or vaccine, for the virus, people of the city should take the necessary precautions and maintain Social distance in public places. Also, Shops were open only till noon. So, those who want to purchase groceries and other essentials will have to shop only in the prescribed timings(6 am-12 pm). Senior citizens are advised to stay at home taking healthy food to boost up Immunity.
Especially, People shouldn’t move around on the streets without any valid reason. Those who violate these rules will have to take punishment and pay fine, Said the Police.
