Army’s watchdog deepens on 19 intelligence routes of terror

Along with this, the army has also identified 19 intelligence routes sensitive to the infiltration of terrorists. Special points and checkpoints have also been established along these lines along the international border and LoC with the police and BSF.
Related sources said that about 300 terrorists associated with Lashkar, Jaish, Al Badar, and Hizbul Mujahideen are currently waiting for infiltration at 23 launching pads in Ghulam Kashmir. Most of these launching pads and terrorists are in slave Kashmir in front of Rajouri-Poonch. Pakistan too is in the mood to push these terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir as soon as they get a chance. The Pakistani Army is continuously firing at Indian bases in Rajouri-Poonch only to infiltrate the terrorists. Because of this, all the firepower records in May and June are seen to be destroyed.
He said that on the basis of interrogation of the intelligence agencies and the captured terrorists, the Army has detected 19 such routes in the areas adjacent to the LoC in Baramulla, Kupwara, Poonch, Rajouri and Bandipore districts which are used for infiltration. Special points and checkpoints have been established on all these routes. Apart from this, the electronic survey has also been increased. He said that the villagers living in the forward areas are also constantly apprised of the situation by the concerned security officials and they are being alerted that immediately upon seeing any suspicious activity or person in their area, they will be taken to the nearest police post or military camp Please provide information Apart from this, village safety committees have also been activated.
30 attempts have failed: The concerned sources said that 30 attempts to infiltrate the AOC have been thwarted this year. 13 terrorists have died on the LoC during the infiltration attempt.
