161 Indians to be repatriated by the United States, this week. Most of them entered the country through the southern borders of Mexico. And these Indian nationals are hardly left with any legal aids.

They will be flown to India through a special chartered flight. Among those enlisted to be repatriated, the maximum of 76 nationals are from Haryana, followed by 56 nationals from Punjab and the rest are from states like Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Goa.

The executive director of North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) Satnam Singh Chahal asserts that they are among 1,739 Indians deteriorating in 95 jails covering the United States.

They were seized by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) while trying to make way to the United States, unlawfully.
